Oxford Competition Success听蹿辞r听Modern Languages
We are delighted to celebrate success in two University of Oxford language competitions.听听
The Anthea Bell Competition attracts entries from students across the country and provides an opportunity for young linguists to apply their language skills听to produce an English translation of a poem or prose extract from a language they are studying.听Many congratulations to Gabriella (Year 7), George (Year 8)听and Avni (Year 9) for their excellent entries in this year’s competition.听
Congratulations also to Ayaan (Lower Sixth), whose German-language entry to the University of Oxford鈥檚 Flash Fiction Competition, consisting of a 100-word story, was highly commended.听
These competitions听provide an opportunity for students听to apply their language skills beyond the classroom.听Congratulations to all students involved for these fantastic accomplishments.
